FAQ

Do you travel to other areas?

Yes, we are able to travel beyond North Lincolnshire, Doncaster, and Bassetlaw. However, depending on the distance, a travel charge may apply. For a personalised quote, please feel free to get in touch.

Can I attend a session with a relative?

We are primarily a community-based service. However, we can access a clinic through an affiliated practice if required—please note this incurs an additional fee. We also offer treatment in a variety of settings, including hydrotherapy pools, gyms, and even cycling sessions. These options may include a small surcharge for facility use, which we’re happy to discuss with you.

Can you recommend other local health professionals ?

Absolutely. We have established strong networks with fellow allied health professionals and are happy to recommend trusted practitioners in your area. We also encourage collaborative, multidisciplinary working to ensure a holistic approach to your rehabilitation.

Can I be treated through my insurance provider?

Yes. We are in the process of registering with a range of insurance providers and frequently add new ones. If you have a cover letter authorising physiotherapy, please email us to check if we are an approved provider with your insurer.

What is neurological physiotherapy?

Neurological physiotherapy is the treatment of conditions caused by disorders of the central nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and associated nerves. These conditions can lead to symptoms such as weakness, paralysis, spasticity, impaired movement, reduced balance, and difficulty performing everyday tasks. We use specialist techniques and neurological knowledge to deliver patient-centred care tailored to your needs.

Do you offer clinic sessions?

Yes, where appropriate and beneficial to the patient, we welcome supportive family members to attend sessions—provided it aligns with the patient’s wishes.

Do I need a referral from my doctor or consultant?

No referral is necessary. You can refer yourself directly to our service if you believe physiotherapy could help you achieve your goals. While a doctor may suggest physiotherapy, their referral is not required to begin treatment with us.

How many sessions will I need?

This will be discussed during your initial assessment and depends entirely on your personal goals and needs. We will never pressure you into more sessions than necessary and will always provide honest, tailored recommendations based on what we believe will benefit you most.
